Where is Aisha Buhari? Nigerians begin search
Where is Nigeria’s First Lady Aisha Buhari? This is the question on the lips of some Nigerians.
On Thursday, January 19, Buhari departed Abuja to the United Kingdom on a 10-day vacation during which he would undergo routine medical check-ups.
His
trip and absence from the country has been trailed by controversy.
There has been speculation that the president is sick and some even went
as far as saying he was dead but all these reports have been debunked by the presidency.

President Buhari again dispelled rumours of his alleged death with photos of him and his wife Aisha Buhari in the UK
The
presidency has assured Nigerians that Buhari is hale and hearty but
they still have their doubts which have been made worse with the news
that the president extended his vacation and no one knows when he will
be back.
While all these drama is going on,
Nigerians have been told by different people on the president’s team
that they have spoken to him. Some of those who said they have spoken
with Buhari are Senate president Bukola Saraki and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
Buhari’s senior special assistant on media and publicity, Garba Shehu
said he has been on the phone with the president’s doctor. The special
adviser on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, said he has not been able
to reach the president directly but he is in contact with him through
those around him.
The latest to speak with him is his only surviving sister, Hajiya Rakiya, who said she speaks with her brother daily.
As people continue to raise questions concerning the president’s health, his wife Aisha has been quiet
throughout.
The only time we heard about her was when she travelled to see her husband
in the United Kingdom and photos were released as proof. But, Nigerians
are not buying it as some have claimed it is photoshopped.
Aisha has also not been active on social media.
Her last post on Facebook was on February 4 about world cancer day. On
Twitter, it was on January 27 when she retweeted about making the people
of Kogi State beneficiaries of free screening programme.
Her silence on this matter is deafening and some Nigerians are wondering why she has chosen to stay mute.

Why is Aisha Buhari not saying anything?
