internet to everyone especially the children and youth who use the
internet for various activities including school work, online gaming and
social networking Nigerians on Tuesday, February 7, joined the rest of
the world to celebrate the Safer Internet Day (SID) 2016.
The
aim of the event is to reach out to young internet users (target group
10 - 18 years old) and share information with them on how they can enjoy
the multiple benefits offered by the medium of the Internet, while at
the same time, staying safe from harm and exposure to age-inappropriate
content.
This year’s theme being "Be The Change: Unite For A Better Internet",
