It is common knowledge that people are not supposed to speak ill of the dead but it seems this family did not get the memo.

A family has delivered a brutal and honest obituary for a 75-year-old man, Leslie Ray Charping, after the man died of cancer.
Charping's family, in the obituary described the man as evil and said it is a relief he is dead.

They also said his death came 29 years later than they expected. His obituary was posted on, Carnes Funeral Home site.
They wrote: “Leslie’s hobbies included being abusive to his family, expediting trips to heaven for the beloved family pets, and fishing, which he was less skilled with than the previously mentioned.”
“Leslie’s life served no other obvious purpose, he did not contribute to society or serve his community and he possessed no redeeming qualities besides quick [witted] sarcasm, which was amusing during his sober days.”
