BREAKING: Egypt into AFCON 2017 final
Egypt have qualified for the
ongoing African Cup of Nations final after defeating Burkina Faso 4 - 3
on penalties in their semi-final clash.
Bertrand Traore missed the vital spot-kick as the Pharoahs qualified for their first final in eight years.
Burkina
Faso started stronger of the two sides. As early as the second minute
Razack hit a sliced hot from 25 yards which was well handled.

In the eight minute Ali Gabr did well to clear a ball off the line.
Egypt however roared back, Trezeguet, guilty of sending an effort wide of goal after Mohammed Salah had done all the job.
The second half however was a different story as both teams took their chances.
Former Chelsea star Mohammed
Salah opened the scoring 66th minute after he controlled Kahraba's pass
to find the top left hand corner.
TheBurkinabe's struck back through
quarter-final hero Aristide Bance. Captain Kabore bustled down the
right, collected Yago’s smart backheel, and his cross found its way to
Bancé, who chested the ball down and rifled it into the corner.
That was how the half ended as the game went into extra-time.
Burkina
Faso probed and asked questions of the Pharoah's defense but still
could not find a way through with Traore guilty of missing an open goal.
The game went into penalties but it
was El-Said's effort which was the first for Egypt was saved. Nurkina
Faso goalie Koffi also missed his spot-kick.
Chelsea striker Bertrand Traore was the culprit as El-Hadary saved his spot-kick to take the Pharaohs through.
